Basic Policy on the Protection of Personal Information
NP Trading Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) shall provide appropriate management of individual information on customers, business contacts,and employees that the company uses in business.
The company shall ensure that every officer and employee follows this policy, establish a system to protect personal information, and make continuous
improvements to its effectiveness.
1. Compliance with Laws
The company complies with all laws and other regulations regarding the protection of personal information, as well as all guidelines established by the Japanese government.
2. Internal Systems
The company shall appoint a person responsible for the protection of personal information and establish divisions that specialize in the protection of personal information. In each division concerned, a personal information supervisor is appointed to perform appropriate management of personal information.
3. Collection of Personal Information and Scope of its Utilization
The company shall collect personal information to the extent necessary to achieve a given purpose in an appropriate and lawful matter. The Company shall use the personal information collected within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose for which it uses the personal information.
4. Specification of the Purpose for Utilizing Personal Information
The company shall clearly define the purposes of using personal information as concretely as possible within its legitimate scope of operation.

- To supply materials and information requested by customers
- To provide applicants for events and campaigns open to public with information such as contact information, explanatory information, materials, details, and services
- To respond to inquiries from customers
5. Restriction of Provision to a Third Party
The company shall not provide the personal information to a third party without the prior consent of the individual concerned except in the cases set out below.
- To provide appropriate proposals and information regarding NP Trading's products and services
- To supply materials and information requested by customers
- To provide applicants for events and campaigns open to public with information such as contact information, explanatory information, materials, details, and services
- To respond to inquiries from customers

6. Joint Use of Personal Information
Within the range necessary to achieve the purpose of use, the personal information collected may be utilized among all companies in the group. However, in such a case, the personal information shall be managed in a thorough manner in accordance with this policy.
7. Supervision of Trustees
In the event of outsourcing personal information, the company shall select an entity whose handling of personal information has been verified, and sign a contract outlining the proper management of personal information with the entity to ensure strict compliance.
8. Security Control Measures
The company shall store personal information safely under strict management, and prevent any unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or leakage of this information through the implementation of security measures that are of a correct and intelligent level.
9. Disclosure of Personal Information
The company shall promptly respond to requests for disclosure of information held on the person making the request in accordance with regulations to a reasonable extent by the establishment of consultation services.
